International Business Brokers Association (IBBA). Formed in 1983, the IBBA is the professional society of the M&A business community, providing education, conferences, professional designations, and networking opportunities. It has more than 1,900 members in the world.

The IBBA strives to create a professional relationship with successful business transaction advisors (i.e. CPA's, bankers, attorneys, and other related associations), to increase the image and value of the IBBA to its members and to be a leader in the exchange of business referrals.

The California Association of Business Brokers (CABB) is a professional trade association whose members are actively involved in assisting their clients in selling, buying, and evaluating businesses. CABB was organized to recognize the professionals of business opportunity brokerage, to help educate the public on the benefits of using licensed intermediaries, and to establish a code of ethics to which members adhere.

The M&A Source, a division of the International Business Brokers Association (IBBA), is the world's largest international organization of experienced, dedicated merger and acquisition intermediaries representing the middle market.

The Source was established in 1991 to address the professional issues of merger and acquisition professionals. This organization currently has more than 200 cooperative intermediaries across Mexico, Europe and the United States.
